I got my SHL3000 Philips headphone back in 2013. I bought it with the first bonus that I received from my first tech job as a developer. It served me well for over 7 or 8 years until my dog chewed its cord back in 2022.
Then I purchased a mid-range Rapoo headphone, which was a complete disaster compared to the Philips. I gave it away to Naghme so I don’t remember its model. Then I tried to change the cord and keep using the SHL3000, but that didn’t go well.
In my latest attempt to replace the SHL3000, I purchased a low-budget Sony headphone. It’s not the same, but it does the job, so I’m officially announcing the retirement of SHL3000. You served well, old friend. Salute.
